Job Opening

Post by Salsa »

I see we need a new coach for the defensive secondary. Really, this shouldn't be a problem.

In fact, I know a couple of posters on this board who might apply.

You got that right! :D Man! We have this guy for only one year and he's off to the NFL? What has he done lately that is so spectacular that he gets offerd a job in the NFL? Our secondary did not exactly get that much better. So what would the 49'ers be looking at to know if Joseph would be ready for a coaching job in the NFL just yet? This is weird. I hope Coach Brandon knew of this ahead of time to scour the list of good potential canidates.

Of course he knows his candidate already - he'll hire from this site if he knows whats good for him.

I guess if anyone formulates a negative opinion that means that they want to take over a coaching position. Comments like these encourage us to not have opinions and keep our mouths shut like everything is fine and dandy. Yep our defense looked great last year! It was fantastic that Joseph did such an excellent job! Honestly I don't have enough information to say whether or not he is a good or bad coach. He may be a great coach for all I know. However, I know that I am not going say he is a good coach just because he was hired by SF.

Just because someone disagrees with something does mean they feel like they are better suited for the job. I'm sure you do not agree with everything your president, govenor, or mayor does, does that make you a better canidate? No, it means you have an opinion and you have the right to have one even if few or many agree with you. I don't think anyone on this site thinks they could do a better job than any of our coaches. We can still point out their mistakes and can argue whether a coach is doing a good job or not. This site would be so interesting if we all agreed on the same thing

Of course they're hiring from this board! Haven't you noticed how Freak hasn't said a lot lately?

Freak would have a GREAT chance, if for no other reason than his very POSITIVE outlook on the program(s). A negative attitude like some of the posters have concerning our program(s) and coaches, does NOT make for a good coach.......matter of fact, it makes for a BAD coach, no matter how much he knows about X and O's.

Problem with this comment is that some obviously don't reallize that Joseph was not the secondary coach. He was the corner coach and that's a big difference. He was the secondary coach (successful too) at Colorado and was able to get players in the NFL that got there off of his coaching. There is a big reason why he is considered an "up and comer".

Hmmmmmmmm.

Interesting that Freak recently saw one of the old Killer B's in Frickers not too long ago.

I believe the position may be close to being filled. I could be wrong.
