They were waiting for the Labor Day sale on paint at Home Depot.
Hope they didn't buy the Behr Ultra paint+primer stuff. It used to be a decent paint option, but I did a couple rooms with it last year and that stuff comes off with barely a rub of anything on the walls...so annoying.

I think they have an even "higher" more expensive Behr paint now, and I have a hunch they made the ultra stuff shittier to push people into the more expensive paint.

I'm done with big box store paint. I'll be paying for name brand from now on and only (hopefully) have to do the shitty job everybody hates once instead of looking at year old painted rooms thinking how they could badly use more touchup/fresh paint.

The company I work for manufacturers paint and colorants. Send me a message if you're looking for reliable stuff.

Thanks man. I've got a 1 year old crawling around scuffing up the paint in his room and the kitchen that we just repainted last year. Not gonna run out to repaint those two rooms so long as he's at the "I'll destroy it anyhow" age, but I may reach out to you in the future :)

They will be lucky if the paint stays through the season. It's difficult enough to get paint to stick to brand new concrete. Gonna be almost impossible to get paint to last on concrete that's weathered for 50 years.

I like it to be honest....if it holds up. They also blacktopped the inner walkway around the stadium.

I thought the paint job looked great...Much better than just looking at old concrete.

Concrete absorbs so much moisture that it's hard to get paint to stick long term.

I agree, a subtle modification but a good one. It looks better.
