Things that can be fixed

Post by MajorFalcon92 »

Since the season is what it is, I'm going to complain about something that can be fixed easily.

Referee microphones. They never have worked for a long time . Fix them.

I'm sure it is nothing that BGSU Athletics is doing wrong...I'd expect a certain poster to come on and make an excuse for why it doesn't work.

"Sometimes the sound reflects off the field turf and combining that with the cloud cover, it causes a magnetic wave that causes all electronic devices to short. We'd fix it, but there isn't anything we can do about it."

Blame Canada
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

If the audio in the stadium worked we could play this before every game.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Don't know what it sounds like there but several times the ref forgot to turn his Mike on. Once he turned it on you could hear him on Espn 3.

I concur. The music selection and and volume is ridiculous, sometimes painful. Let the band play.

Game day presentation as a whole is horrid. Countless times you have the PA guy talking over music or a video on the screen. There were two couples who bought tickets online for will call that had to wait 30 minutes to receive them because they weren't printed and the printer they had in the ticket booth wasn't working. As mentioned, the music volume is ridiculous. On-field presentations are a mess...they finally were decent this week because you had someone with actual experience in Norm Van Ness. The lack of port-a-johns in light of Homecoming weekend was also ridiculous. If you parked in the grass lot, you had to walk clear over to the paved area just to find one.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
