Miami game time?
Has anyone heard anything about this game time? I've got some friends who may or may not come with me , but they'd like to know how it'll affect their plans. Hope it'll be a 3 pm start so we can tailgate. Noon games mess us up .

Are we really not going to find out until this weekend?
Why would anyone (ESPN regional?) want to pick up this game?

LAME
If there is no TV involved... I think 4pm is the perfect kickoff time.
Plenty of tailgate time and gets the out of towners home by 10 or 11 the latest.

Bummer, probably the last home game I can make it to before the November games and it's an early start.

It's on ESPN3...every game we play at home is on ESPN3 at the very least...so..in that sense, every game has TV involved.thewebboy wrote:LAME

Re: Miami game time?
So 2 of my friends are now planning to come w/ me ( Joyce is in Dayton doing grandma stuff).. But one guy, who tends to have some health issues that create problems in the AM, says he cant make it, which is why I was hoping for a 3 o'clock start ( not to mention missing tailgate time)

This is as slow as this board has ever been the week of a Toledo game.

Is anyone else going? I feel like there will be only 2 BG fans at the game tomorrow.

It was incredibly odd to see that 2 days before the Turdledo game, there were a grand total of 0 posts on this forum all of yesterday. I'm going to guess that's a first. I was beginning to wonder if there were going to be any today or not.kdog27 wrote:This is as slow as this board has ever been the week of a Toledo game.
I'm overdue for caulking my windows and painting some trim on my house. I can't think of a better time to do that than starting at 3:30 on Saturday. I just can't muster up the least bit of excitement for this game. Very depressing season.

Re: Miami game time?
any time BG has a noon game, they lose me. i like to tailgate prior to a game and it is a 2 1/2 hour drive. it makes no sense! Especially this year. Why put in lights if they are never used? The university deserves the 100 or so fans that decide to go. I hope it looks good on espn3 since the conference and school officials sold their souls for such a great opportunity!

Re: Miami game time?
If we are at home, and I am able, I am there. But I also live in town now. The game times are going to be the game times. There is not much we can do about it. I enjoy tailgating before the game, but after the game for a couple of hours is just as good. The team does not control the start time either so they most definitely deserve way more than the "100 or so fans" that are in the stands. If you didn't see this year coming then you haven't been watching what has happened with the program the last two years. This is what happens when you commit all of the serious recruiting to an up tempo, all offense system. We will be just fine and back to the top of the MAC soon. If you don't believe that then why come to the games at all?????
