Falcons move south for the winter?

Post by OrangeIsTheNewFast »

Is it possible to move the whole football program to a different state and start fresh like the Great Cleveland Browns?

That's a bold strategy cotton, while normally I would advise against something like this, at this point our team can't get any worse. f**k it. Alabama here we come. Maybe we can be one of Sabens side projects.

You what's funny?

About two nights ago, I had dream that Bowling Green was a private school located about hour north of New York City on the Hudson (not too far from West Point). The 50,000 seat stadium was in the beautiful fall backdrop of hilly upstate New York. The fall colors combined with the Brown and Orange Color scheme was truly sight to behold. They even had the old LT Falcon logo back on the helmets.

They were in the ACC conference (North Division) but their in-state rival was Syracuse who was is the Big East. They played teams like Clemson, Duke, Florida State and Maryland. National coverage and a P5 school. Such a cool dream.

I think it was all inspired by seeing Army West Point's stadium the other day on Reddit and thinking how a state as populated as NY has only three D1A times while the state of Ohio has EIGHT.

Then, I woke up and remembered Mike Jinks and #Maction and got sad.

While many people think about it, I as well dreamed about this. BG is up and on the move.. but the move is away. Like the Goodyear Blimp, here today and gone tomorrow. While it's hard to see, Jinks is undercutting the program. This team has the talent to win the MAC, and a chance to be aplayoff team. The problem is after watching many practices, the falcons are spending too much time tackling. Offense wins games coach, get your head in the game
