Well the Broncos cut it down to 7 and forced a stop but Broncos QB was intercepted at the 13 yard line and the Badgers scored to make it a 14 pt game again.

WMU scored but used up 9 min. On clock, and MISSED the XP. Now Wisky has a 3rd and long near midfield after onside kick failed. C'mon Broncos!

24-16 final. That interception at the 13 yd line was key. Take that away and this may have gone to O.T.

On a side note, Terrell to Davis is now the #1 QB/WR TD combo in college football history.

Western is going to lose a lot of players but they have so much depth and talent. I have to think they would be the early MAC West favorite again.

Not sure where I read this but WMU have 19 recruits coming next year. 13 are 3 star recruits and 6 are 4 star recruits. Mostly from Michigan. Fleck appears to be recruiting Michigan very well.

These teams looked pretty evenly matched to me.

I don't know where you read it either but 247 Sports shows WMU with 27 commitments (20 three star and 7 two star). Not quite as strong as you indicated but enough to be rated #1 in the MAC and 63rd in the country. So if you consider some recruiting bias towards bigger schools in the star rating system, probably a top 50 recruiting year.

The first quarter looked like the Badgers were going to do to them what they did to us last time we played them. Broncos looked like little more than speed bumps to start the game. They recovered well and certainly gave as good as they got the rest of the way. Too bad they came out looking like a deer in headlights. If not for the bad start and the costly turnover deep in their end, this was a game they had a shot to win.

Overall, a dismal bowl performance for the MAC, as a whole. Nothing like going 0-6 to reinforce the already negative opinions that are out there about the conference.

While the MAC didn't do well in bowls ( though could have won 3 of those), what about the BIG? OSU,NEBRASKA,MICH.,PENN ST.,all teams in top third of league, went down. And Wisconsin beat WMU, primarily due to an unbelievable tight end performance ( and one terrible int. That set up a TD. )Can't recall which other teams played in bowls.. Oops, almost forgot IOWA too.

I think Michigan wins if Peppers and Butt aren't hurt. I'm not sure Speight is s guy that's going too get you into the Championship game
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
