Night Games

I'm happy to have some night games! :drinkers:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I doubt there will be anyone there, no matter what time they play!
I certainly hope there isn’t a swim meet or volleyball game In the same time frame, as they may well outdraw football now!

Maybe BG needs to start funding an endowment to buyout bad hires. You can't put all your money in only a few sports and then watch them run into the ground by incompetent coaches.

Luckily FB plays in the MAC East. If they played in the West it would take a decade to get out of this hole.

I agree on the attendance. The budget crunch is only getting worse. No fans means FB losing even more money than they already do.

I can live with ONE weekend nite game, but for fans like me, who travel 2+ hrs each way to see games, these 6 or 7 pm starts mean home well after midnight to one am. Since the espn Maction games are already at nite I'd prefer all sat games at a 3 pm start time. Still gives us tailgate time , and a decent time to arrive home.
Don't know who these fans are that Moose allegedly has talked with, but I'll bet he's never talked with many out of town alums or fans.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)

I definitely understand your point of view when you have a long drive both ways, but I still like having a game or two in the evening on a weekend. And being retired...the late time getting home shouldn't matter. :-D

Don't really care much either way right now...
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

That's the spirit. Can't say I disagree. I predicted 2-10 and I'll stand by that thinking we will beat Kent and Akron. Kent won against an FCS school, something BG couldn't but Kent has only passed for 212 yards in 4 games and against their 3 FBS games they passed for a combined 60 yards.
