The big question during game was why not change out Darius, way earlier. As I err to understand why, it became clear.
1. Make it crystal clear there will be no QB controversy.
2. If you put Loy in early, he’s likely to try and win the game and prove himself... likely running.... and get cut in half.
3. We have 2 QBs, with 30 some practices and 8 games to go. The coaches showed extraordinary wisdom. Same reason Clair didn’t play... he could have.
The K State fans were unbelievably welcoming. At least 15 people came up to me and said “welcome to K state” and genuinely asked if everything is good! I’m going to start doing this at BG games. Only takes a second.

It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

Valid points but 10 games left.
What if Wade plays same again against LA Tech?
Heard same thing about their fans from friends that went too.

Yes, 10 more games.... even more reason to swallow pride and eat the loss. Imagine a walk on at QB. And No, we won’t find a diamond in the rough.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

I was there and I had the same experience.roguewarrior wrote:The K State fans were unbelievably welcoming. At least 15 people came up to me and said “welcome to K state” and genuinely asked if everything is good! I’m going to start doing this at BG games. Only takes a second.
I suspect it helped our cause some that no one expected Bowling Green to do anything other than what Kansas State fans wanted us to do: Take their beating and go home. Even so, it was a great experience. They were very kind to us.
And I agree on the decision to leave Wade in there. As long as you are certain he is your starter, leave him in there and give him some time to work on his touch.
