Hope there's a QB battle next year in camp.
Great comparison. It looks like McDonald has a great arm for a couple of throws and then he tries to aim it like a dart and it messes up his throwing motion and accuracy.

The end of the line for Schilz was the DC Bowl and then came The Pirate. Where is the next Matt Johnson?

The offensive ineptitude has hurt the defense as well.

Side note, this team is incredibly young. 64 freshman or RS freshmen. Nuts.
His mechanics are trash. I'm shocked Loeffler hasn't worked with him to correct it. It's Tebow-like.

What game are you watching drumstix2388? It isn't BG/Buffalo.

Well, Loeffler also coached Tebow in college. Lol

Badly underthrown ball to Kinsey there. JK had a step, and it would've been a TD if it was in stride.

Lucky we took the flag.

The Terion Stewart feature drive ends in a touchdown. Boy, this young man is gonna be special.

BG cuts the lead to 35-10.

Yeah, I regretted saying “great” arm as soon as a posted it. I should have said “capable.”

Defense hasn't quit yet. They forced a quick punt after a three-and-out and the offense will come back out to work from near midfield.

McDonald with a nice throw and a 21 yard TD pass to Morris. (This was the call on the field.)

His hand was out at the 1 before he reached the end zone, so it's first and goal from there.

...and Terion Stewart runs in another.

It's 35-17. Much closer than last year (49-7) and closer than the 31.5 point spread, too.

A 57 yard TD rush for Patterson puts Buffalo up 42-17.

Not sure why they've kept him in the game this long. He's their starter and he now has 31 carries for 301 yards.

Damn I hope Patterson goes to the league next season because I never want to see him against BG again.

Final: Buffalo 42, BGSU 17.

Improvement is there. Our first game not losing by 35+ since the win against Akron last year.

Gotta keep grinding.

Showed some fight tonight. Progress all around. I want to see a monster running game in BG’s future like Buffalo displayed. Buffalo has a solid team
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Coach Loeffler said after the game that we’re also without WR Coach Erik Campbell, who is going through some family stuff. Jordan Strack reported after the game that, “it doesn’t sound like he will be back.”

I’m not sure if that means he won’t be back this season or he won’t be back at all, but I guess it’s something to monitor.

It’s so hard to even be playing football right now with everything going on in the world outside the game that still somehow impacts the game. Unbelievably proud of the way we still fight even in this crazy world we’re living in right now.
