Kansas safety Davon Ferguson transferring to BG

I stumbled across something that said Kansas safety Davon Ferguson is transferring to BG. I had to read it twice because it said we had a guy transferring to us and not away from us, unlike the mass exodus of players who have left BG. If true, he would make only our second guy transferring in this season. And before the jokes begin about how our two transfers are both from the two worst Power Five programs (Kansas, and Gunther is from Syracuse), Ferguson looks like a pretty good player. He's experienced and proven and we need help everywhere. We still have two more scholarships open if Ferguson is coming, and I've got to believe one, if not both, will be going to a WR.

Maybe this is why Biggers left, coaches knowing they had someone else coming in to fill the safety spot.

Either way, always good to bring in someone from a P5 program no matter how bad they are.

I reported on the recruiting thread.... word on the street is Biggers was helpful in recruiting him to BG....which throws some water on speculation that our coaches drove out good players; as opposed to them acting on their own volition. Cudos to Biggers if true.
