I'm all in on Coach Loeffler - and this is great!

This program needs some of the swagger they’ve been missing since 2015.

I don’t know if we’re about to enter the Cocky Scot era, but if we can back it up on the field and win some games, I’m here for it.

He's been saying "fun time is over it's time to work" for a couple of years now...not buying it until I see it.

Brandon's teams made a big show of putting a lock and chain on the gate at th visitor's entrance ...kinda of a "now you can't leave" deal. They couldn't really pull it off...so it just looked weak

Hah, imagine if Babers said something like this while he was here. He used to get a lot of heat on here for his hubris, some posters didn't like it (myself included sometimes). Yeah all this bravado and rah rah stuff over the summer is nice, but it's time for the results to speak for the program.

Rah Rah talk in July doesn’t change anything. Dominant Wins will get me excited.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

7 wins in three years. The disrespect has been earned until you prove otherwise.

Lower the standards as close to the ground as possible, then play the disrespect game. Classic Loeffler.

I think the difference is Babers and Brandon put on the show at the beginning of their tenure after inheriting strong programs. Loeffler inherited the program at arguably its absolute worst. After four years it's fair to expect further growth and a .500 record, Coach Loeffler knows this and he's putting his money where his mouth is....just hopefully not literally with Vegas!🤣

Babers gets so much undeserved s**t from people. He was here two years..took over a squad loaded with veteran talent and did pretty well with it. He didn't really have much of an opportunity to build a roster...but he brought some talent into the program.

Jinks was a horrible coach...his worst sin was not treating the roster he inherited with more respect. He would have bought some time had he doone so. That and he couldn't retain talent.

Loeffler has made more than his share of mistakes....way more than his share.

+1

I have said it before and I’ll say again. 2015 BG lost a back forth classic to Memphis. In 2016 they lost to Memphis 77-3. 2016 were preseason favorites to win the East and pretty much hadn’t lost a game in the east in years until Jinks took over. You don’t go instantly to 77-3 and the doormat of the east, and blame Babers. Sorry I just don’t get it. Babers has been gone for what 7 years now and was here less than 2. Mike jinks was the problem. Putting these 2 together as the one problem is overdone.

Y’all remember Jinx saying he inherited a talented roster because I do. Sadly everyone here seems to remember when he couldn’t win with it so he started blaming the old boss.

Yup. I called out the blame Babers crowd years ago and still do. Babers left quickly because he was successful and because he felt father time knocking, so he wanted to fulfill his dream of taking over a major program.

Jinks inherited a MAC east championship QB, the nation's most experienced offensive line, and nearly the entire receiving corps. Couldn't hold on to one who transferred and one who went pro, to be fair maybe Babers wouldn't have either. Still inherited Moore and Miller though. And 6 starters on defense. And it resulted in 77-3. Pathetic. Then his recruits kept getting arrested leading to attrition of his own making. Jinks cratered this team so badly that finally in year four Loeffler has a team that resembles a MAC team.
