Don’t like the look of that injury to Day. He’s had a great game and seemed to be in a lot of pain there.

UCLA ties the game fairly easily on the next drive. I think the D is a little gassed because of the heat and tempo.

17 all, 4:04 til halftime.

All tied up. Offense needs to put something together to give the defense a break.

Defense definitely looks gassed. Offense really needs a drive here. Points would be amazing but most important is giving the defense a break against the speed and the heat.

I take this back.

Offense sputters quickly and is punting back with just under 3 minutes to play until halftime.

UCLA takes over near midfield, and they immediately score.

24-17 Bruins.

McDonald still sucks. Offensive line has given him time today.

Inaccurate passes, deflected passes, and a blown touchdown pass. Better quarterback play?

Is there seriously no qb on our roster that can challenge McDonald all these years. He has had so many wide open guys that he keeps putting the ball behind ahead or over their head.

Lots of BG players dropping with cramps late in the half. We had an idea this might happen, but it’s clear we’re breaking down physically because of the heat and the tempo.

BG takes a knee to send it to halftime.

Bruins lead 24-17 at halftime. This Falcon team has battled and fought their way to a one score deficit at halftime. Very encouraging in some aspects, gotta get better in others.

BG ball after the half.

Down 7 at half if still a good place to be. I figured this was going to be a blowout by then.
