And Briggs again hit it out of the park with his most recent article lamenting the fact that BG/UT goes to weeknight MACtion. He also brings up the ratings numbers, that I always talk about when people love the "exposure" of MACtion.
BG/UT was an absolute thriller of a football game last year and it draws less viewers than reruns of random reality schlop. I don't get upset when I see the schedule anymore because I know it's what we're getting, but it's still asinine.
2023 Schedule
Re: 2023 Schedule
Homecoming is officially 9/23 against Ohio.
Ohio State @ Notre Dame is that day. Think the athletic department will do some wiggling to make the kickoff times different enough to still draw a crowd?

If we're healthy, I think we might have a sneaky chance in that one.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 11:36 am The Georgia Tech game was announced for a 3:30 start and will be on the ACC Network.

Re: 2023 Schedule
We're so cooked. We're gonna be 1-4 after Georgia Tech this weekend. We're not beating Miami, so we'll be 1-5. Gotta go to Buffalo after that, and while it should be a winnable game, how many guys are still trying if we're 1-5?jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 1:54 pm Miami (Whammy) game on October 7th has been announced for a 3:30 kick on ESPN+
Very well might be 1-6 and needing to win out (with Toledo still on the schedule) just for bowl eligibility by the time we have our next home game, nearly a month from now.

Akron took Indiana to 4 OT before losing...that might not be the gimme win it looked like earlier
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

DJ Irons will have a field day punking this undisciplined squad. He made most of Indiana's defenders look silly.
