If some of the NCAA stuff involves Moore...that seems to be the only thing that keeps him from getting the gig

I heard Scot turned ‘em down.

He got a phone call and he told them he’s a Falcon now and to shove it.

This is of course totally made up, but I’d like to think it went down like that.

Very unlikely Strength & Conditioning coach Ben Herbert is going with Harbaugh. Pro athletes have their own private trainers.. his current role doesn't really translate to the NFL. If he does go it would be in some different role, but I don't see it.

Wrong. It was announced today that Herbert informed the team he was going with Harbaugh to the Chargers.

Hiring Moore seems like a curious decision with most of the support staff leaving with Jim. Would have been a good opportunity to start fresh and hire externally. Time will tell.

Boston College HC Jeff Hafley took the Packers DC job, so the carousel continues to spin.

Gonna see more collegiate head coaches leave for NFL jobs. The madness of NIL and the portal isn't worth it.

What a great opportunity for BC to grab a seasoned HC with ties to the program!! Scot Loeffler is their ideal candidate

The NFL has always been seen as too serious and life-destroying compared to college coaching, but I've never understood the appeal of the college ranks if you actually want to COACH. The rules in college are far too limited on not even being able to speak to or see your team most of the year. The fact that your entire job is based on begging 17 year olds to commit their development to you was even more mind-boggling. And NOW, you have to beg the 18-22 year olds to see it out another year while at the same time scouring the portal to beg other 18-22 year olds to commit, at least a year, to joining all those kids?

It was always absurd that you had to convince 20-25 kids every year to join your ranks, and hope your scouting and everything else was good. Now you've got to basically do that for your entire roster.

And yes, I think Loeffler should be the #1 candidate in BC. There's a proven program builder if they've ever seen one.

If Loeffler were to leave, our shot at winning the MAC this fall absolutely blows up and we start the rebuild all over again. Entire roster hits the portal and we’re 1-11 like Kent State.
