A few of my depth chart observations:
- Lichtensteiger is staying at guard. I think Brandon mentioned this in a story in the Blade the other tday. Moving him to center would create new starters at 4 OL position. Keeping him at guard only means three new starters.
- Markray is back at guard. I thought he moved to tackle during last season.
- Williams has moved from DT to DE.
- Winovich is listed third at MLB. I don't understand what we are doing with him. He is supposed to be such a great athlete. We wasted his redshirt so he could play on special teams. Then we move him to LB to take advantage of his skills, yet he is third on the depth chart?
- Haneline is third at the WILL. Woulnd't be surprised to see him move up.
- Diyral Briggs is now fourth at SAM. Wasn't he a DE last year? Again, why are we moving guys so they can be third or fourth on the depth chart?
- No Perry on the depth chart, but he is still listed on the roster.
- True Freshman Luke Alexander (enrolled in Jan) is already #2 at the X receiver.
