Lol, Akron comes right back with a 75 yard TD to go ahead 16-13.

Left at half. Too cold to deal with ugly football.

I mean, honestly what MAC team can win even at the bottom of the conference with their fourth QB? The O-line is awful and can’t block for the pass or the run, so I’m really not sure what kind of offensive plan you can have with this roster. A serious overhaul of the roster is needed on the offensive side. I hope that Najm isn’t the QB of the future, either because I haven’t seen anything that would give me confidence in him.

You can’t convince me that someone on this officiating crew isn’t tipping the scale for gambling.

Yeah, the unrealistic expectations some people have on here that this team can magically put together an offense with a 4th stringer is hilarious. Gibby echoed sentiments of essentially wiping the slate clean on offense. Receivers don't get any separation, the O-line is mediocre and will need to be replaced anyways, QB is a mess. You're only set at TE and RB assuming no one leaves.

Yeah the talent level wasn't great before being on our 4th QB.

While I haven't seen anything special from this staff I do question in this era how much a coach can do to scheme it up beyond the talent level. The ability to retain the talent you want to on offense is going to be key in building any sort of offensive success. Defense is far easier to reload/retool.

Eddies got some work cut out obviously

I guess it would have dumb to try and scheme anything up for this game. Throw in the towel and hope you can attract some talent. Season was over a long time ago. No reason to try now.

Going to be incredibly difficult in this era of football. Unless the NIL pool has grown it'll be looking at FCS upperclassmen looking to make a jump, or P4 castoffs who never developed into anything.

Miami oh had their second string senior qb last week and he threw for 147 yards, 29 % completion and 3 interceptions. The team completely turned after mediocre Pyne got injured. It's tough playing with a backup in the transfer portal era. Defense has been solid but has to be tough to be motivated when you don't believe in the other side of the ball and you lost your star early in the season

This entire program is hot garbage! EIGHT losing seasons in the last TEN years. No bowl wins in over a DECADE! ZERO appearances in Detroit in the last DECADE! FIVE losses in a row. SEVEN losses in the last eight games. A PUTRID offense and one of the nation’s worst. Ten years ago BG’s offensive could produce more offense in a quarter and a half than this one produces in an entire game. Completely undisciplined team that continues to get stupid unsportsmanlike penalties. It’s a complete and utter train wreck!!! BGSUCKS!!!!!!

They did it. They completed the Trifecta of Trash. Losing to Akron, Kent St., and Eastern Michigan in the same season. That would be a fireable offense at BGSU back it was more than a social media click. Way to go.

You know what’s worse than hot garbage? 10,000 posts of long-winded posts about BG/OU. Do you realize how stupid you look? Your user name is bgsu33, you’ve made thousands of posts supporting BG, have been caught using burner accounts to stick up for yourself and your tag line even says Go BG in it still. You’re not even good at being a troll. Guest actually can bring some humor to his posts at least. Meanwhile, Your name should just be Verbose33.

Remember when all the Ohio St fans were going to come to games because BGSU hired Eddie George? DVDM and Rodney Rogers went all in on smoke and mirrors. It’s who they are. It was a gigantic flop.

The hope now is that our Ohio famous coach can recruit at such a high level BGSU can overcome poor game coaching. Good luck with that in 2025-2026. Substance over impressions every single day of the week. Six months ago it was how long will DVDM stick around, that flipped quick. I get the impression this hire isn’t going help him.
