Missing from the expected signees up to this point are RB Deshon Jenkins, WR Isaiah Howard, and DE Bryce Brewster.

Jenkins decommitted 2 weeks ago. Keeping an eye out for the other 2. No surprises yet today.

Taft Athletics (his school) tweeted that Bryce Brewster will be signing to BG today at 4:30pm. So just waiting for that ceremony to happen, shouldn't be any surprises there.

Hayward isn't active on Twitter, but he has his commitment to BG in his bio and as his pinned tweet. Not much info anywhere else.

He decommitted and then his next tweet was getting an offer from an FCS team

247 has BG as the 80th ranked class, which is the highest I can remember seeing us. Second in the MAC to Toledo, who has (according to Jordan Strack) the highest ranked class in MAC history. Can't wait to see Candle do nothing with that.

Looking at the highlight videos, a few things stood out; The OL recruits will need a year to get quicker and more skilled, but look huge and strong, a couple of the WRs look like they could play right away, Jarin Mock might find the field at QB pretty quickly, and the defensive recruits have very good size.

That's a name I haven't heard in a while. Is he still working in Toledo?

He’s still local. He left WTOL to work for the Walleye and Mudhens for a couple years and now he’s got a Michigan football podcast with Chris Wormley. Still very active on social media.

Briggs did an article in The Blade on the recruiting ranking system and interviewed the person who developed them, they're essentially meaningless. A player gets their star rating solely based on the quality of programs recruiting them. Really has nothing to do with what they've shown on the field. Mock by all accounts would be a four-star recruit since he was originally committed to Wisconsin before their coaching turnover.

Big news: Decommit OT Travis Robertson has flipped back to BG after being committed to UCLA. Tons of legitimate P5 offers. 6'6" 320 lbs.

edit: This is not confirmed by BG yet. It was reported by a UCLA reporter who cited his high school athletic director announcing his signing with BG. His instagram story also has him in a BG sweater at his signing day.

Confirmed by BG. Huge get. I'm sure the change in the coaching staff left him hanging a bit, but I'll take it. He's a potential day 1 player. 2nd highest recruit in history according to 247 (I know, I know, it's all BS). Highest ever was QB James Morgan, for those curious.

Massive get. Fortifying the trenches, that’s how you build a successful program.
