2026 Transfer Portal
Re: 2026 Transfer Portal
I can and most certainly will say "we" since I've earned degrees from BOTH institutions. That said - BG's football program has become a complete and train wreck, while Ohio's program continues to roll along with tons and tons of success. "WE" (BG) simply suck, but "WE" (OU) are one of the MAC's best programs. The bottom line is - BG's program has turned into and is now an utter embarrassment. The past decade has simply been horrific - and that's being kind. "WE" all know it - I'm just not afraid to say it like most on here are. The truth certainly hurts.

Re: 2026 Transfer Portal
Surprised at the amount of P4 interest our guys are getting right now. Harris and Kleather make sense. The others seem like obvious money grabs where they are just going to be depth/special teams guys with not much time on the field.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 5:58 am Keyon Washington is headed to Iowa State.

Re: 2026 Transfer Portal
Iowa State is basically starting from scratch. They had 70(!) players leave following Campbell's departure. Good place to bet on yourself.BillyLP wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 8:38 amSurprised at the amount of P4 interest our guys are getting right now. Harris and Kleather make sense. Haha. Yeah, crazy. I think they were down to 17 rostered players at some point in December. Friendly reminder that things could always be worse.mbenecke wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 9:46 am70???? Re: 2026 Transfer Portal
You would think Ryan Day would be checking in on Kleather
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Re: 2026 Transfer Portal
He doesn't truly value special teams or the small details in the way he should, and that has caused their downfall in almost every loss he has taken in his 6 years in Columbus. Kleather absolutely should be a Buckeye this fall, but I'd be shocked if he was. PJ Fleck will be getting a good one if Minnesota is where he lands.

Re: 2026 Transfer Portal
What’s his plan, find a team who wants a QB that cannot throw the ball downfield?

Re: 2026 Transfer Portal
Over 4,500 players in the portal across Division 1. One third of all players. 40% of them will be out of football by the start of next season.
