Thompson decommitted today, showing how ridiculous this whole process is.
Good. Keep that Kit juju out of our program.

Seriously though, what a joke. Don't commit if you aren't coming here. It's especially egregious out of the portal.
Thompson committed to Ohio. 33 must've paid him off.

I doubt it had anything to do with money. Im sure the idea of playing and winning meaningless bowl games as 33 only cares about these days.

This would be very good.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

The withdrawals don't seem to be accurate, but BG has gotten several commitments out of the portal today.

Agreed. 247 isn't great for G5 stuff but was hoping it was the case.

RB Ke'Marion Baldwin has signed from Charleston Southern. 5'8, 200. Has some good film.

CB Mike Wright has signed, was with FAU last year.

Well, well, well, BG is struggling mightily in this extremely important transfer portal period trying to get quality players. Not surprised whatsoever. Not only did BG get completely wiped out by the mass amounts of transfers, now they can't even get anyone decent to go there. It's laughable. I see BG is focused on doing a deep dive backwards into way lower levels of football for talent. I mean, there's gotta be some unknow rec league out there that BG can tap in to! WTH is this coaching staff doing??? BG finished 11th in the MAC last year with a bunch of guys who just got plucked by Power Four programs. Now BG is going to try and rebuilt using the Sister's of the Poor pipeline??? Meanwhile, down at Ohio - one of the premiere MAC programs - they are loading up with all kinds of talent! Power Four guys from the Big Ten, SEC and Big 12 including an SEC WR who was offered by Ohio State and Michigan! Two TE's from Illinois and Kansas State. A LB from Wisconsin and a DL from Michigan State - and they're not done! Plus, they've proven additions from the FCS including literally taking away a guy from BG today! Literally, Ohio just took away a guy who committed to BG today. LFMAO! I can't even make that stuff up! Ohio is reloading, BG is simply stuck in no man's land, and John Hauser is going to rip the $hit out of BG for years to come, just like Ohio has done to BG for the last decade! The truth hurts for BG - and there's nothing but a decade-long of facts to prove it no matter how ticked off anyone gets about hearing it. OHIOrules, BGSUCKS, and the FACTS prove it and will continue to do so.
GO BG!!!

Who hurt you, 33? Did some little lady at BG break your heart? Possibly you feel wronged by BG football?

It’s pretty sad really. To each their own, I guess. Be sure to get out of the basement this evening to thank your mom for dinner.

I'm going to assume Mike Wright is related to Major Wright since both are from Florida. If I'm wrong don't correct me

Recruiting based but BG has a commitment from Kentrell White. He is the #17 ranked athlete in the nation and had offers from Pitt and Tennessee, among others.

Highest rated commitment in program history.

This HS class of 2026 now has 6 of the top 10 highest rated commitments in program history. For all the noise, Eddie is recruiting at an insanely high level.

Previously committed to Auburn. Not sure how he came free.

I think this will start happening more with programs spending more money on recruiting the portal. It will be low numbers of freshman going to big schools so we’ll start seeing a trickle down of better recruits.

Logic would seem to follow that once all the COVID extra years wear off there will be the same total number of D1 players coming up through HS and available as historically. If more of our depth players are getting gigs at P5 schools that's less HS recruits for those schools to spend on, leaving them available for us.

The challenge will be in keeping any of those talented Freshmen in the programs.
