Highest rated commitment in program history.
Previously committed to Auburn. Not sure how he came free.
I think this will start happening more with programs spending more money on recruiting the portal. It will be low numbers of freshman going to big schools so we’ll start seeing a trickle down of better recruits.
Kentrell is officially signed and has early enrolled. Probably be a focal point of the offense in 2026. He had de-committed from Auburn last month following their coaching change. Would not be shocked if BG plans to use him in a Fannin type role where he is lined up at X, Z, F, and Y.

Gotta play a guy like that while you have him.

Either he doesn’t play, which means he hits the portal. Or he does play - and if he plays well, he hits the portal because someone is offering him a bag. Just how it is now.

You’d rather at least use guys like that while you have them. Hopefully that’s part of the recruiting pitch - come play right away.

Malik Moses posted he has withdrawn from the portal. Assume he will return to the team.

Good news - today is the last day players can enter the portal unless there's a coaching change.

Former Oregon quarterback Austin Novosad has committed to Bowling Green. He was ranked higher than Sam Leavitt and Marcel Reed in his recruiting class. Absolutely monster get.

Wow that's a huge get! Hopefully we can build a receiver on top of this

Punter Ryan Kingston has committed from SEMO. Was previously at EMU where he primarily handled kickoff duties. Averaged 41 yards per punt with a long of 65 last year.

Portal is officially closed. Signing day is 18 days away and by my count there are 15-17 roster spots to fill based on upon who may or may not be returning. Going to assume based upon Kastantin and Novosad that Pyne is off the roster. There have been rumblings he may be a graduate assistant this year.

I’m under the impression that these dates really mean nothing. If an athlete decides in a month they want to transfer, the NCAA doesn’t have the balls to stop them. Heck, a kid who signed an actual contract for four million dollars isn’t safe from tampering, so nobody is safe in my mind. This is unsustainable. I won’t trust a roster until fall camp.

WR Nick Sowell has committed from South Carolina State. 6"6' so will be a big target.
