Sooner Fans

Post by MajorFalcon92 »

Just want to thank the Sooner fans for the great hospitality before, during and after the game. Some of the best fans I have ever seen. We had a great time while here. Heading back to Columbus today.

they could use some porta-pottys around campus though, especially if you bring your kids.

Portapotties

Post by SoonerAl »

LOL! portapotties cost money and don't bring in any revenue. They just don't fit our AD's MO.

The portapotties that we do have, are located in lots where donors park. So until Joe C. can figure out a way to make money off of the average fan's need to defecate, you probably won't see them in other areas.

They should have some type of lock on it and charge 50 cents a use. Maybe that would teach women to hold it.

I have heard that he is trying to figure out a way to charge on a "per pound" basis. He is having a hard time finding someone to crawl in and do the measuring, though. ;)

Thanks MajorFalcon92. The BG fans were very courteous and friendly as well. I'm sorry you had trouble locating port-a-potties. Honestly I don't get there until it is almost time to go in the stadium, so it isn't a problem I have encountered. Apparently the staff at OU are aware though and have supposedly increased the number of port-a-potties this year. Believe it or not, ESPN did a story on such things and I am posting a link to the story.

Glad you were able to come to Norman. I guess there were 84,300 plus of us there. BG was very impressive, to no one's surprise. Best of luck to your Falcons.

I think the whole state of Oklahoma has issues with restrooms and such. All along the turnpike are signs that read "FREE RESTROOMS, NO PURCHASE NECESSARY" (no joke), so I guess it should not have been a huge surprise about the porta-potties in and around campus.

Now I understand why the Arkansas river which runs through Oklahoma is so low. Nothing feeding it.

Definately could have used more porta johns especially with the Bud Light Light you guys have down there. We found 2 porta john, but the entrances were facing each other so no one could use them.
