Hawkins

Post by Tricky_Falcon »

Apparently the Pittsburgh Steelers are interested in James Hawkins. They're calling BG coaches and trainers today. Maybe Hawk will come on here later today and talk a bit about it.

There seems to be a connection between the Steelers and the current BG coaching staff.

I have seen Steelers coaches with BG positions coaches the last two years at Falcon hockey and hoops games.

Good for him for getting looked at by NFL scouts, but WHY does it have to be Pit, of all teams? Oh well, I guess I'll have to deal with it, if it means Hawkins gets a chance to go pro.

So what if it's the Steelers thats interested in Hawk? Gosh, he was a our 3-4th option at reciever with not a ton of yards in his career and he's getting a look by scouts. So thats fine with me! :D Show em' Hawk!

Regardless of whether it's Pittsburg or Cleveland, it is pretty sweet that he's getting looked at by scouts. Personally, I think it would be great if he did go to Pittsburg, because, whether some of you want to admit it, he'll be able to play with an amazing qb. Big Ben as I guess he's called, was an amazing quarterback at Miami, and he proved he could do it at Pitt. Anywho, Hawk has my support no matter what team he goes with, It's always great to see a Falcon in the NFL, it just means that much more publicity for the university, as well as the MAC.
