It's true about the Pittsburgh Steelers
Definitely. Loved every minute of it.1987alum wrote: hammb: I'll be the Doyt was jumpin'!
I was in the front row of the student section and the most memorably moment was when Jon Mazur (friend of mine), came over to ride the bike while the defense was on the field...he smiled at me and just said, "This is fun!"
That was about as bad a butt whippin' as I've seen. Those boys from the BCS came in and got totally embarrassed. Best of all it spawned the phrase, "Bowling Freaking Green"

yeah i think they have their seasons mixed up. Though it would have cool to be at that game in Mizzou. That's where the turnaround began.Schadenfreude wrote:Every photo I've seen is from the 2001 game -- in Columbia, Mo.hammb wrote:Definitely. KG was one of the best WR's to come thru BG in the last 25 years...Like Mark Schzlachic and Cole Magner, if the ball was within 5 yards, he'd catch it....except for that one against Marshall in '98 in the end zone...just having some fun KG!gerl4 wrote:Played from 98-02. WR Gerling #4
And Kurt was as tough as anyone on the field...never backed down from anyone.
BEST OF LUCK HAWK! I don't care what team takes ya...
