NC State tailgate deaths

Post by TG1996 »

Damn... some people need to lighten up. (On *both* sides of this one, it seems.)

I just have to shake my head at the last quote from the guy that was with the victims right after they got shot. "When I get out of here, when nobody's looking, I'm gonna cry about this."

Dude, you just watched 2 people freaking DIE, its okay to be emotional. I think the rules of being a tough guy allow you to break down a little if you watch someone get shot in the face. *shrug* But maybe that's just me.

I had read in another article where one guy said he pointed in the general direction of where the guys who got killed were at.

He said something to the effect that he got them killed.

You just can't explain how stupid these deaths were.

wow, this is one the worst things ive ever heard of I think. Even though from what we see and hear from various media, it is still hard to believe that there are people that are like this. First of all, they pulled the guy from his car and beat him. Now, the article was vague, but he may have deserved something for being reckless in a crowded area, but not that. 2nd, that there are people, regardless of what was done to them, that feel that they have the right to take someone elses life. It is a very sad thing that has happened here, but maybe it will educate people, and prevent such things from happening again in the future. What may even be the worst thing about this, is that this Smith guy actually told the man where to find the 2 victims. There probably was not any police or law enforcement officers near by, but thats where he should have gone, and/or pointed the man. Or at least led him away from them, and the majority of innocent people to gain some time to find a police officer. I dont know what else to say, im very upset about this right now.

It doesn't matter when it happened. Before, during, or after it was all senseless. Which I'm sure everyone agrees with. This is an unfortunate and tragic story of stupidity meeting insanity. First, you don't drive like a reckless maniac through a crowd and then when you cronfront the driver you don't beat him senseless. Finally you don't retaliate by shooting people. This situation at NC State makes me sick to my stomach. Why do certain people have to be so dumb? No one should have to fear for their life when they attend a football game.
