It looks like they may be paving Wooster in advance of tomorrows game. I don’t think it’s a final job, but they were scrambling to get the access lane paved today.
They painted a new BGSU logo at the intersection of the road surrounding DP Stadium. There is a large sign declaring the north end zone the future home of the SAC, along with a picture. They are accepting the student meal plans at no less than two of the concession booths. The paint job on the rails is weak. So pink is our orange, it bleeds through glossy black. That’s some powerful nasty old paint. They seem to have installed some proper handicap seating platforms just below the main seating walkway.
The ice arena looks sharp, save for the badly needed power wash of the walls. Nice landscaping work that wasn’t possible before.
And good grief, after years of seeing BG 120 cruising about town in a sedan, I felt like a deer in headlights when I saw him in his new SUV.
