Why Couldn't WVU and BG Honor Coach Nehlen?

Post by Salsa »

How's this for an idea? Don Nehlen, former head coach at both BG and West Virginia, was recently elected into the College Football Coaches Hall of Fame. Why couldn't WVU and BG play a game in which they both honored Coach Nehlen as former head coach?

Wouldn't it be great if that game took place at the Doyt? But it probably would take place at WVU.

You know what? It seems to me that doing this is so obvious that indeed talks are already in the works and that it will happen.

WVU and BG should just play a home and home, and honor him both years. There's enough Don Nehlen to go around for everybody.

Whether we play WVU or not, I say Coach Nehlen is at or near the front of the line to have some part of the Sebo building named after him.
