From a bgsufalcons.com article about Omar.....
"The Falcons are scheduled to appear on national television four times at Wisconsin (Sept. 3, Noon, ESPN), at Boise State (Sept. 21, 8 p.m., ESPN2), at Miami (November 15, 7 p.m., ESPN2) and at home against Toledo (November 22, 7 p.m., ESPN2).
In addition, outlets such as ESPN's College Gameday, Sports Illustrated, and the Orlando Sentinel have contacted the BGSU Athletic Communications Office this week to inquire about the Falcons and their quarterback."
Until this, I haven't seen any official mention of the UW game being on TV. Being at noon, on ESPN got me thinking that Gameday might be setting up at that game.
Other games of interest on 9/3/05.....
1. NIU@Michigan: Good, but NIU's not creating the same kind of hype that we are, as they don't have any "household names" as we do in Omar.
2. Georgia Tech@Auburn
3. Miami (OH)@OSU: again, without Roeth. and Hoeppner, no one knows about Miami this year, and really, who wants to see more of the Buckeyes (Other than Herbstreet)?
4. Boise State@Georgia: If we lose Gameday to this one, I wouldn't be upset at all. Both are great teams, and there's a serious upset threat here.
5. Fordham@Rhode Island
You can check out the day's schedules at http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/schedules
Other than those listed above, all of the other games are just the big boys beating up on the 1-AA teams.

Possibly it was that way in the beginning but it is so big now and there is so much money in it that they are out every week. Last year they were at LSU/Oregon St. the first week.Warthog wrote:Actually, not sure if Gameday hits the road that early in the season. I was thinking the stay in studio the first couple of weeks before ventureing out on the road.
