They are. BGSU33 posted the link to all of the improvements at the beginning of this thread. It's just the first time I saw the press box rendering.

I was there in May and that picture makes it look 1,000 times better than it does in person. the sketch makes it look a billion times better.

Falcon fans....

Agreed - our stadium is subpar, even with the most recent training facility construction (south endzone, $5M). However, times are changing.

The new upgrades ($12M more) will include an enclosed horseshoe facility (except SE and SW corners) with a consistent brick facade that fits well with our nearby Alumni Center as well as campus. We'll have a new, large press box (communication center) with suites and a new total seating capacity of approx. 28K (includes seats and grass seating). Last week, we hired the arch firm (same firm which designed our basketball arena). Needless to say, we're pretty excited about the upgrades.

Below is the stadium upgrade website.

Ball State is going to have a very nice stadium when this is all said and done. Which only leads me to say, when the SEBO is built at BG we won't be finished, we're just getting started.

I think Ball State has everything in place. They have some really nice facilities. The basketball arena looks very very nice. I also like the feel of the campus. I must also say that those inside the athletic dept. know what they're doing and where they want the program to go. I had a chance to talk to a few of the people in the dept. when I was up there in May and was very impressed. With these improvements to the football stadium more recruits will be looking at Ball State.

With the stadium, many of the alumni now feel that we're "catching up" with the other MAC programs (from a facilities perspective).

Always liked DP. I'd imagine that Sebo will add significantly to the atmosphere at BG.

Tricky,

One of the things I noticed when we were there in 2003 for the BG/BSU football game was how nice that campus is. Their student Union, like ours, is now state of the art. In a lot of ways, BGSU and BSU aver very similar.
Good school.

Yager's looking very good. I look forward to a visit there, as well as DP.

The MAC has some outstanding campuses - with BGSU, Miami, and BSU at the top of the list.

Peden Stadium is awful purdy...even if you do have to park on the freeway.

Flipper... whoes side are you on?! Peden? More like Podunk.

I kinda like the Doyt. It's homely. No insult intended. Yager has all my love though.

I still think I don't care.

AND that I'd still take the Doyt.

Peden is probably my favorite as well. It has a nice backdrop.
