A neutral observer checks in

Post by TG1996 »

For those of us who love all the Omar hype, but are looking for more from the outside media, check out this blurb...

http://ciskie.blogspot.com/2005/08/blog ... -case.html

Of course there are a handful here (myself included) that might want to check his sanity for his high opinion of Jelani, but I thought this was an exceptional argument for why the players AROUND Omar make BG a Top 25 team just as much as #4 himself does.
"I don't believe I can name a coach, anywhere, anytime, anyhow, who did it better than Doyt Perry."
-1955 BG Assistant Bo Schembechler

Only complaint I have about that evaluation is calling PJ "diminuative"....He's not tall, true, but a very solidly built, not diminuative IMO.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)

No doubt....only 5'9" but almost 220 lbs of solid muscle. I wouldn't want to get run over by the Popester.
Best all round back in the MAC.

When Noah & I are playing NCAA 2006, everytime Pope busts off a good one, Noah yells "Can't stop the Popemobile!" True to life, for sure!
