Great stuff, Metz. DJ was a solid player on some not so great teams...he played with as much energy as anyone. He was so quick coming off the corner.

It is awesome to have him back at BG. Classy dude.

You know, I don't know if anyone in the MAC is in a position to really improve defensively as BG is -- not even Miami who already have a really good defense. With the hire of Lovett and an alum like Durkin who is certainly a coaching up-and-comer, we could really make some strides in breaking the MAC sterotype of "all bark [offense] and no bite [defense]." Durkin's perspective alone will mean a TON to this program, and I am so, soooo happy he is here.
