I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but in the notes section of an article on Braylon Edwards signing his contract they had some good news about Josh:

- Crennel says Browns wide receiver Andre Davis has had an ''average'' camp. That is not high praise.
''He started off a little slowly,'' Crennel said. ''I think he's come on a little bit the last couple days. He began to make some catches. They haven't been the dramatic down-the-field catches, but he's making progress.''
Crennel said Davis wasn't getting the chances because Bryant and Northcutt were playing so well.
Davis has been mentioned in trade talks with Seattle.
- Josh Harris had one of his better passing days. He completed long touchdown passes to Rideau with Michael Jameson on coverage and Richard Alston with Sean Jones covering. Jones got even when he intercepted a short pass from Harris over the middle.
- Trent Dilfer got cheers from the crowd when he scrambled into the end zone from the 2 on a goal-line drill and then handed the ball to a little girl about three years old ... QB Doug Johnson was held from practice because of dehydration.
- Crennel is delaying deciding whether Reuben Droughns (hamstring) or Aaron Shea (hip) will play against the Giants. Droughns practiced yesterday, but players were not in pads. He has been hobbled since last Thursday. Shea has been out since last Saturday.
