Here is what Vick had to say about Sunshine,"What are your impressions of Cole Magner?
Vick: Cole looked good. He's been impressive throughout the entire training camp. We're very excited about him. He's a guy who goes out and catches the ball with no gloves on, straight hands, so you have to respect that. He's a playmaker. I've been watching him the last month and a half and critiquing him. I think he's going to make this football team."

It is interesting to see the two falcon logos next to each other here...I wonder who Ohio Bob is?

Can't you jsut hear the play-by-play call now - "TOUCHDOWN! Cole Magner from Ron Mexico and the Falcons take the lead!!!"

Don't look now, but the naysayers are now out and in full force.

My favorite quote by an Alfred under the thread heading "From my seat at the Dome, The opening day WRs should be..."
Cole Magner played like someone trying to make a football team.

Hmmmmm, okay, buddy, how is he SUPPOSE to play? Should everone play like they're trying to make a football team?
He also wanted receivers with more of a "presence". So, the guy is suppose to LOOK imposing regardless of ability.

Reading that board is like wading through the shallow end of the gene pool. No lifeguard and the towels are all gone.

Maybe his point was that he has no brains?

I like that one. It is similar to a "Lanism" I have heard from my husband 87 times. (Yes I am annoying you with more of my annoying H stories).

Coach Lane was one of his position coaches. The best Lanism:

My thought was that, since there is no comma before the "and", he must view his arms and brains as two parts of one inseparable whole.
