receiver not DB?

We have about 47 capable receivers and about 4 good secondary players.

Helmet Stripe?

Post by Dayons_Den »

I hope this stripe on the helmets is just tape or something and not a change to our helmet striping. . .

Maybe he's not a good secondary player either.

true, but I would assume he needs some development before being a viable receiver or d-back so I would just assume develop him as a d-back since that is our thinnest area and that's what he played in HS.

All I know is we recruited him as a d-back and we have heard all along he was going to play in the secondary and now of all of a sudden he's exclusively a receiver. The only thing I can think of/hope for is that we were impressed enough with the other incoming secondary recruits (Smith) that we figured we had the luxury of moving Magner to receiver. I hope this is the case.

Actually, I think we recruited him because he is Sunshine's brother.

"We threw a pass to him in practice and it went off his fingertips. I said, 'Cole would have caught that,' " Studrawa said. "He's going to hear that for a long time. I said, 'You want to stop hearing it, then catch the ball.' "

   Rhett is gonna kick some tail.

BTW, the D player in the pic is Cody Basler, not Baiser. I know he is a new Frosh recruit but still.
