My favorite sports book site for major casinos in vegas is picking Wisconson by 4 1/2 today. As you all may know home team automaticly gets 3 pts.
Now last year when spreads were less than 5 pts 23% of the time come game day they ended up at pick. 53% of the time the time picked to win initially lost.
my feeling is this game will fall to a pick situation come game day.
BG will win if lead at half time, if we strike often the first quarter and lead by more than 14 at the half. The first quarter will be key to success in taking thier crowd down a notch, and causing thier defensive folk to have interal questions as what to do...ie a bit of panic...but not an all out panic attack...we need to keep them off kilter, or thier slow and steady bang away could wear us down, we need to keep our pace,,,fast no huddle and wear out there D forcing substititions and mismatches on our terms...i think WI is more ready than many believe, and the team with early success will take the day.

Considering the game is the upset pick du jour . . .
The spread seems like it would generate equal betting on each side which is all Las Vegas wants anyway.
Essentially, BGSU is only a 1.5 point dog on a neutral field.
The spread will probably narrow today as word of a couple of UW fall camp injuries spreads.
This is business as usual for us the last five seasons as we seem to get hurt at positions where we lack depth.
