the roster for the football team is on the web site and our friend Nick Lawrence is listed there.

hmm. So has he been practicing too I wonder. I'm not sure I agree with this if he is.

I can sort of see both sides but I also think this is a questionable decision. Not that it has any bearing but prepare for the rockette mudslinging.

Personally I believe in 2nd chances in most situations. Toledo has had problems of their own, so Rocket fans shouldn't talk either. However, if they do it is because of the crap they have got from BG fans when similar issues happened at Toledo.

Some things to keep in mind..........his scholarship could still be taken away and he is walking on. He may be listed in error and isn't on the team. Sometimes interns are putting these rosters together and they might have made a mistake on this. Also, if the legal aspects of this are behind him, Brandon might have told him "OK, you slip up one time and you are done."

If Lawrence is grayshirting as someone mentioned in one of the other threads, then I'm not surprised that he's listed on the roster. He can practice with them until school starts, and then go home until the spring semester.

The roster still doesn't explain who the lefthanded quarterback was at the scrimmage.

That was Benjy Kennedy he was a Qb at Morris HS in IL and was recruitied as one here but we moved him to WR and Lawerence is takeing part in the practices cause i heard him name at the thing last sat

Very Fair post, rf. Unless we're on the inside, we really never know 100%.

Everyone deserves a 2nd chance....but ya better make it count. Hopefully the young man learned the "easy" money wasn't worth the pain.
