ESPNU is MAC'in on August 24th

Post by UK Peregrine »

For those who get ESPNU, on August 24th you're in for a treat. Get your TIVO or VCR warmed up. Starting @

1am EST
2004 GMAC Bowl: Bowling Green vs. Memphis (Definitely the most enjoyable BG game on)

4am EST
2004: Toledo at Miami (Ohio) (Always enjoyable watching UT lose)

7am EST
2004: Marshall at Akron (Even better watching Marshall lose)

10am EST
2004 MAC Championship: Miami (Ohio) vs. Toledo (Ehh, what can you do)

1pm EST
2004: Bowling Green at Northern Illinois (I would turn it off about halftime)

4pm EST
2004: Bowling Green at Toledo (I would definitely turn it off at halftime)

And replayed again on August 27 4PM EST
2004 GMAC Bowl: Bowling Green vs. Memphis

You're a stronger man than I, UK... I was at a wedding in Michigan that weekend, I turned it on late in the first quarter when I got to my hotel, and by halftime, I was ready to spend time with relatives.

Sure the second quarter blew, but wasn't it just 7-7 at the half. I thought NIU and Wolfe went on their run in the third quarter. Perhaps I'm wrong. To be safe, just watch the first quarter then.

Yeah, I guess you're right, halftime was 7-7, but it seemed like it was so much more painful early on.

That game was so awful we left the bar w/ about 3:00 left on the clock. We couldn't take it anymore. In order to cleanse our eyes from what we had watched we went to Diamond's.

What cost us in 2004 were horrible 3rd quarters at NIU & UT. :( :x

This year we must finish the job. GO FALCONS!!
