I was trying to remember the rankings of all teams that fell to MAC schools that day, but I'm coming up empty. Though ESPN.com does feature the scores from that day, the rankings are incorrect. (ie, they have Miami University ranked #15 and Pitt, which lost to Toledo, unranked.) One thing I've noticed about ESPN.com's "rankings", is that they reflect the current rank, and not when the game was played.
Pitt (??) 31
Toledo 35
NIU 19
Alabama (??) 16
BGSU 17
Ohio St. (??) 24
Marshall 27
KSU (??) 20
Miami 41
Colo St. (??) 21 (CSU may have been just outside the polls at the time of this game.
Little help?

rankings
Pitt was ranked 9th in the country and I believe Kansas State was 6th in the country. Not sure about Alabama, but it seems like it was in the 20's like number 22 or something. I don't believe Colorado State was ranked. Ohio State.........hmm, can't remember at all.
