I remember Solich's departure from Nebraska being a little, uh, "questionable", but for the sake of calling him "the best coach in the MAC", I'd like to see him coach a play first, much less win games and division/conference championships. I think Amstutz's titles give him a slight edge, but going by Schad's "built up from zero" analogy, shouldn't Brandon get a little extra credit? While it may be viewed as Meyer's offense, coach Brandon had more than a small hand in creating, building and maintaining it as one of the top offenses in all of college football, not just the MAC. And playing the "can't win big conference road games" card (which I hate) gives Novak a double-whammy, seeing how he hasn't been able to beat either of his main MAC West rivals on the road, and can't beat one of them at home, either.kdog27 wrote:Not saying that means anything but I don't think his being runout was justified.
