Anyway, I have browsed some of the Bronco boards and I do agree that most of your fans are very respectable people. For whatever reason, your team, at least on the ESPN boards, has the most inept homers of any team. Unfortately, a lot of people don't like Boise because of those fans, and I wish some of you realistic, respectful Boise fans would post on there to even it out and show everyone that the lot of you are good people

I can't speak for anyone else but I don't post at ESPN for that exact reason. I rarely even read the posts there because that nonsence pisses me off.

It has already been said before but I'll second it: Hardwood and others are largely considered an embarrassment to our fine team and gernerally good fans.

Those few posts are not by any means a conscensis. I, for one am glad that BGSU is a home game for BSU this year. BSU has a very tough road schedule as it is this year. @UGA, @OSU, @Fresno, @Hawaii, and @ La Tech (always tough at Ruston).

BTW, a while back I also read some of your posts at the ESPN boards talking with Hardwood, DP etc. I think you sunk close to their level regarding BSU. JMOHO

SDbronco, from other posts on here, hopefully people have realized hardwood is a moron. All his posts are like that. I posted his quote and said I love the BSU message board because those people make me smile at how little they really know. I respect your true fans and can't wait to meet some of you guys when I make the journey out there!!

Every team has fans that aren't respectful to others. It's the world of sports. Fortunately, a majority of people realize this and don't take into account the comments that those fans make. We just read them, smile, chuckle, and move on.

my name on the ESPN boards is jbutke. I never sunk to their level, never made wild and disrespectful predictions, never trashed anyone who wasn't a BGSU fan. DP and Hardwood are just ridiculous people, one-sided and completely biased. It is fun to go back and forth with them always hoping you can get them to be realistic. But, alas, it never works. There are a few BG fans who have traded posts with DP and Hardwood, just wanted to make sure you had the right person

. Anyways, I stand behind all my posts because I don't think I ever trashed Boise, although fans like them make me want Boise to lose just to spite them.

Not trying to start anything but this is a post of yours:

You ****ing went to OT against San Jose State, you had to rally from behind against Tulsa, and BYU had to miss a last second FG to lose to you by 1 IN BOISE. So don't you DARE even try to talk up your team! You play in the 2nd weakest conference in 1-A CFG and you are a product of that. You can't beat BCS conference teams (2-13) and you struggle against your own bottom WAC teams.....so STFU already. BG scheduled well gosh lets see Oklahoma, the 2nd best team in the nation last year, and only lost by 16 to them! Also, NIU and Toledo are 8 and 9 win teams every year so those road losses are acceptable, just as a road loss to Fresno would be for you.

I am going to setttle something else for you Boise homers....your run defense is ONLY ranked where it was last year because you play WAC teams and crappy OOC teams who are so far behind that they do NOTHING but pass the ball after the 1st quarter....you can look at the damn stat sheets and see this! How dare you talk up your defense like that knowing full well the real reason. God damn do I hate double standard, ignorant, seemingly GED educated people.

ok Boise fans I have read about enough of this BS. Not only do I have to listen to you talk up your team in the main board but now I have to listen to this garbage. Enough is ENOUGH.

I know i've had my moments where I didn't think before I posted, but in fairness, that was my first post about Boise (2 months ago) and it was because of what DP and Hardwood were saying about Boise vs BGSU, talking them up so much. It really angered me because they talk down to teams like Georgia and Bowling Green but have what I mentioned happen to Boise, which is ok. I just hate double standards and that time I got upset. However, that was only directed towards DP and Hardwood, not to the team and your fans in general. I was hoping that posting that would get the homers to be realistic about their own team before dogging other teams like Georgia and BG. Of course it didn't work and after that I don't think I lost my temper like that. So in closing, it was my first post, it occurred after lots of posts about the BGSU vs. Boise game and I read through all the crap that was said, and it really angered me.

Gotcha, not a problem.

I understand the anger thing. UGA fans have taken over the main BSU board. I think they post a few hundred posts a day. Most of those posts are about how BSU doesn't even belong on the same field with UGA and that we have zero chance against their superior athletes etc.

I know many BSU posters have reacted like you did in the above example. Taking it out of context one might think the average BSU poster was an arrogant S.O.B.

I know that I took what you said out of context, or at least didn't tell the whole story (sorry bout that)

Just wanted to demonstrate a point.

Again, good luck this year. I am looking forward to watching a great game between our teams.

BTW: Trying to reason with those who cannot be reasoned with (lets just call them "Wood and DiP") is a waste of time. Most of us (BSU fans) just try to distance ourselves from them.

Pity that jerks can hide behiind the anonymity of the internet but that is the nature of the beast. Also it only takes a few boos (read jerks) to drown out a ton of cheers (read good guys). The arrogant fans seem to be the types who want to take the credit for what coaches and players are accomplishing or want to put down the success of other programs--losers.

I want to be on record re Omar Jacobs. I have no doubt he will be head and shoulders above any qb we play this year or last year for that matter.
Timmy Chang is not even in the equation. I hope Omar has a great year with one off night in Boise. In fact I want him to have such a great year that he goes to the NFL and we don't have to see him suited up next year at your house.

couldn't agree more about the hiding behind computer screens. Hell I even said that to DP at one point and showed him to the graduate student directory to which I am listed so that he could see my picture and information and that I'm not a moron like he was trying to make me out to be. Yet he claimed that I made up the link and website and that it proves nothing about who I am hahaha!! However, he'd give no information about himself except that he lives in the Boise area and something about not wanting to list his age ( I got the impression he was in his mid to late 30's HA!) and that he wasn't a Boise alum (if memory serves me correctly). He said that personal information has no business in anonymous threads, while I agree, if you show who you are, it gives proof that you are educated, et cetera. Regardless, DP and Hardwood are 35-40 year old adolescents, probably single, fat and ugly and are SO mad at the world for how they ended up that they have nothing better to do than hate on other college football teams.

. Just my 2 cents.
