Remember when we were all aching for football season to get here?

Why are we in such a rush to see what happens NEXT year? (Or at the very earliest, three months and ten or more games from now...)

I couldn't agree more. I want Omar here as long as possible but I sure don't want to push him thru the door.

Let's play the 2005 season, win the MAC and bowl game and THEN talk about it. Just my 2 cents.

In the next two years I can see Bret Farve steping back, and or GB at least picking a 1st RD QB to groom to step up when he does step back...GB plans ahead well, and can see taht as another option....

I think part of the picture has to be what teams are going to be shoping QB and who might be the following year...it realy will give him nice options.

But he pretty much sucked in the preseason from what I heard. Wouldn't bet against them taking another one next year.

I'd bet every penny of my savings account against it. No way, it'll never happen. You cannot give up on a young QB, no matter how poor he looked in preseason. There is a reason most rookie QBs don't play, because no matter how good they can become they usually suck their rookie year.

GB needs to think about drafting a defense right now anyways.
