What happened with Columbus radio coverage
I have to work on Saturdays and was looking forward to listening to the game on the radio station (1580) in Columbus as I did the Wisconsin game. To my shock they were carrying the game between Northern Iowa and Minnesota Duluth. Why, I have no idea. Does anyone know if BG somehow lost their broadcast agreement? I can't imagine what interest there would be in Columbus for Northern Iowa games. I could call the station but wondered if anyone else was aware of this.

They eventually shifted over to the Bowling Green game. (Some report by the end of the first quarter; I checked midway through the third quarter and found the BG game on by then).FALCON FLIER wrote:I have to work on Saturdays and was looking forward to listening to the game on the radio station (1580) in Columbus as I did the Wisconsin game. One thing I noticed last year: When our games were offered on the Internet through the old Real Audio package, after the game was over and the broadcast was complete, often the feed would shift over to a Northern Iowa game in progress.
So, in the sobriety of a Monday morning, I wonder if there was some sort of network screw up beyond WVKO's control.
Did anyone notice the Northern Iowa game getting aired on other Bowling Green affiliates?
It was frustrating not to be able to listen to the whole game, that's for sure.
