NIU has some class

Post by Bleeding Orange »

I just read on the NIU game notes that there will be a moment of silence to honor Aaron's passing prior to the game this Friday. I know that we don't like each other most of the time, but the loss of a player is something that our schools do have in common over the past two years.

Thank you NIU

What a nice gesture on NIUs part. I'm sure Aaron's family would appreciate it

I believe the last time we were there they had a moment of silence for Leslie Dawley, the soccer player from BG who passed away on the field. . . .

Was it Northern who had the player die in the porch collapse in Chicago? If so, they understand the emotions....

yeah, a lineman, who if I remember was only a freshman/sophomore, so alot of the players on this team probably came in around the same time, so they can likely relate to what BG's going through.

Class move by NIU!!!
