Something does look very concerning about this team. True, we opened with a tough three game stretch on the road, but we haven't put it all together in any of these games. I've heard the "Overrated" cheer against us at Wisconsin and Boise State, and I'm sure if it wasn't being said at Boise State they were thinking it. But right now, I'd have to almost agree....until we show we are better than what we have shown as a team, we have been overrated. Because the way we are playing, right now….if we are the MAC’s best team, then the MAC is way, way down this year. We can really only improve and go up from here, but it will take a total team effort. Omar is one player, he cannot make us a great team alone. He can make us a much better team, but he can’t do it alone. We need to be good on offense, defense and specials teams.kdog27 wrote:It worked last year. I guess there is one thing we can learn from this start from Toledo. Remember, last year they got crushed badly to open the season by Minnesota and Kansas on the road and won a tight one against EMU to open 1-2. Then, they pretty much ran the table to another MAC Championship. Our season is not over, but we have a lot of work to do to make it as good as it can be at this time.
