From a Boise fan...

Post by 1boisebro »

tough game last night, guys. i watched the entire Wisconsin/BGSU game as well as a couple Falcon games last year, and i know your team is much better than they played last night.

i know Omar had a bad game, but if a bad game for him is throwing 3 TDs with no INTs, i think that just shows the quality of player he really is, and i feel fortunate to have seen him play on the blue. he's one hell of a football player.

Thanks to everyone on this board for showing such class these last few months and welcoming us BSU fans aboard. you've earned our respect long before kickoff, and i guarantee there are plenty of new Falcon fans in Boise hereafter. we'll be watching and rooting for you guys the rest of the way!

best of luck this season. i look forward to our game next year in Bowling Green.

take care!

I was thinking the same thing on the way home from work last night... defensive effort aside, how many schools would LOVE to get 18-36 for 220 and 3 TD's, 0 INT out of their QB every week? I know a bunch of the yards came on that late drive, but just looking at pure stats, I think we've gotten spoiled.

I love being spoiled, but it makes the let downs hurt that much more.

as spoiled as we have gotten...we have got to find a running game. Not because we need to score more points, but we need to maintain possession of the ball. We know our defense is performing horrific against the run. The front seven is getting knocked around at will. The best thing for us may be ball control to keep the other offenses off the field grinding us the entire game. Three and outs will not get it done.

1boisebro,

You guys have a great team....we knew that coming into the season. I was way impressed with the Broncos as much as I was disappointed in BG's performance.

Is it true you only have ONE SR starter????? Look out!!!

WIn the WAC again!

Congrats on kicking our tails.

Mike,
I was hoping that SOMEONE would recognize the quality of Boise's preparation and performance....instead of just focusing on OUR lack of same....hard to do at times, but no doubt that the FAR better team won last nite.... My only comment re: our preparation had to do with something I don't think anyone mentioned...at least I didn't see it.... With enough time left in the first half to mount and maintain a drive, which this team is certainly capable of doing, we let the clock basically run out...it was as if the coaching staff was running up the white flag...very disappointing. But again, Boise deserves a great deal of credit for their game planning and execution (of us)

I know that it is a small consolation but during the current home win streak the average margin of victory has been over 30 points.

Even on one of your worst days you played better than average on the Blue.

To compare: Fresno (always a solid team) lost by 45 in 2002. (also on ESPN).

It's at your house next year. I'm sure the rematch will be on TV also.

Good luck the rest of the year. Now go win the MAC. Nothing fixes things like winning. I think this win helped our team forget about the UGA game, somewhat.

What truely is astonishing to me...is that our front 7 made a game and stood tall against one of the badest D's in football...WI and are now geting shoved around by everyone, our guys need to be as up as they were for WI every frinking game.
