Omar write-up in Philadelphia Daily News

Post by mmr »

There is a short good writeup on omar in the Philadelphia daily news today. The Temple coach compares Omar to Manning... Peyton.

I have the hard copy of the newspaper, but if you e-mail me, and i can email you the PDF of the write-up and review of the temple-BG game.

Or below is the link, the story is halfway down the page. i think you have to signup for a free membership to read.

Great, more uneeded hype for Omar to try to keep out of his mind. Hope he never heard that. Omar doesnt' need to hear anymore Heisman or qb hype for the rest of the seaon. Omar needs to focus on what lies ahead the total demolition of Temple. :-\

I don't think we will have to worry about Omar or the rest of our Falcons. They have had a couple of gut checks and it's out of their system. They are playing at home and will be ready to go on a tear. Starting with tearing apart the Owls.

Omar is not getting caught up in the hype from how he grades himself so far this season. In today's Sentinel-Tribune he gives himself grades of C- for the Wisconsin game, a D for the Ball State game and an F for the Boise State game. He says that one of the things he hopes to improve on is knowing when to run the ball.
