That's what I did and have always done. However, I do think they would help their cause by putting trash cans out there. I know a lot of people are still going to trash the place, that's the nature of 18-23 year olds, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to have trash cans.

Hell, throw a few dumpsters out there, look around our campus, not like we're not used to horribly placed dumpsters.

If they've got Boy Scouts (or any group) cleaning up, might it be worth the extra help to have a couple trash bags at your tailgate and make one for cans only? Just an enviro-friendly thought.
