General Admission at the Doyt in '05?
Looking at the seating chart on bgsufalcons.com, there seems to be one section on each side of Perry Stadium for GA seating.
http://graphics.fansonly.com/schools/bg ... tperry.gif
Section 7 on the West side and section 22 on the East Side....plus the areas behind each end zone.
GO FALCONS!!

I think that is an old chart Freak. Go to the online tickets website, http://ev8.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce ... inkID=bgsu , and click on seating charts. No GA section listed there.

Thanks for correcting me, WH. They need to take that old chart off bgsufalcons.com cuz it could get confusing. I was confused but that is a pretty regular occurrence!.Warthog wrote:I think that is an old chart Freak. I think it is a play to increase revenue. Last year or the year before, I think they limited GA to like the very end sections on each side. Also, the price for a GA ticket was like a buck or two less then a reserved seat. That probably influenced a lot of folks to just spend the couple extra dollars and get the reserved seat. Now that most people are buying reserved seats, they can take away the GA and not many people should notice.tekekini wrote: why did they take away GA seating?

Dang!! I know that is at least 5 years old because it wasn't like that the year before I joined the FMB, and this is my 4th year marching. Out of curiosity, can any FMB alumni vouch for how long it's been since the band was in that position?Redwingtom wrote:You think that one is old...take a look at where they have the band in this one...LOL

Here is what I found out.tekekini wrote:No more GA? the only people i know left in BG are my girlfriend and her roomates. guess i wont be going to any football games if I cant sit with em. We can't even sell out the stadium why did they take away GA seating?
There is no GA for the general public. Students will show their IDs to get in and then sit in GA fashion anywhere in the student sections.
So yes you can sit with your GF and her roommates. Hey maybe I could sit with them too...

That would be the year 2000, I believe. I recall sitting accross from the band during that season when I sat on the West side. I moved to the east and the band was opposite my seats in 2001. Apparently, I subconciously am trying to get away from the band...Godsgirlerific wrote:Dang!!
