OK, if there is, indeed, a psychic tether between the Falcons and our flag football team, things are looking good.
The boys were on their game last night. Even though we are, without a doubt, the overall slowest team in the league, we ran up and down the field with the other team.
Plays of the day:

Noah & Freddy blew up a play that almost resulted in a safety. Noah also had a sack in which he pushed aside the lineman and simply ran over a kid in the backfield.

The absolute smallest player on our team, who hasn't been able to get the ball across the line of scrimmage all year long, busted off a zig-zag 30-yard run for a score. The boys almost crushed him in the end zone when they celebrated.

We ran a little swing pass, except the receiver caught the ball on the run to the left, stopped dead in his tracks and cut back against the grain. No need to block, since most of the opposing team fell down trying to switch direction.
Line of the day: Near the end of the game, one of the kids on the other team looked at one of our kids and said, "Josh, would you please stopping running me over?"
