Well I am here. I am at the Courtyard in St Charles, IL. in my hotel room. I left this morning at 3:30am and I just got here to the hotel about 15 min ago. Took me almost 9 hours, like I said in previous posts. Still have about 20 miles to Dekalb. The Falcon bus left 6 hours after me, which means they may not get out here until 6:00, bad planning!!!!! He need all the tailgaters we can get. Well I am off to the game and hopefully there will be plenty of Orange and Brown already there!!!! GO FALCONS....
If it took me 9 hours to get here leaving at the crack of dawn, I can only imagine how long it will take me tomorrow in rush hour.
I am here!!!!!!!!
That, and they plan on going to the CFHOF. Why didn't they leave on Thursday?

I'm totally confused now. Jokes about how easy that is to do aside, I thought it had been observed the team was still in town as of this morning. I didn't think it sounded right myself, but folks say they saw players at the practice field.
Now I can believe the Falcon Club bus might be late, but thats another story. I just hope it doesn't wind up being like a trip a few years ago. The driver had gotten up at 4 a.m., driven to BG, down to Miami, back up to BG, and at near mid-night, was going to try to drive back to Cleveland. He was so close to fallign asleep we were driving at 45 mph up I-75. I and another had to ride shootgun and keep him awake.
Then there was the greyhound bus they chartered in addition to the Lakefront, for a trip to the Gund. The Greyhound was late, then broke down just after entering I-75 at BG. We crammed everybody onto the Lakefront, a state Trooper blocked southbound traffic, and let us use the turnaround rather than make us go all the way up to 582.

Re: I am here!!!!!!!!
That is insane! We left at 11:30, stopped once, and still made it there around 5-5:30 their time. We only had a minor traffic delay but we never completely stopped for a few. The construction is horrible in Ill. though. I am honestly suprised it didn't take us longer.bgsufan1972 wrote:If it took me 9 hours to get here leaving at the crack of dawn, I can only imagine how long it will take me tomorrow in rush hour.
