Code Orange put up it's first ever non-loss tonight.
Summary: It was a grueling 6-6 tie. The first half was scoreless. Our D did fantastic, but the offense sputtered. Our QB would look nowhere but short over the middle which didn't get us far.
We got the ball at half, but a quick INT gave them good field position. Their snapper went out for a pass (all players are eligable receievers) and I missed the assignment from my FS spot. He got free and made the catch and ran it in.
The ball changed hands a few times, offense still never got going. We had a fourth and short inside our own 20 late in the 4th, went for it and failed. They never thought of running out the clock, so on first down they went for the endzone and it was overthrown. Next play WR ran a corner, I jumped the route and made the INT for a touchback. (I heard AZZ going in my head... sad i know!)
We slowly and methodically moved the ball down field, converting a 4th down and scored to tie it with one minute. PAT failed. On D we tried our best to get the ball back, two close INT's but time ran out and the game ended in a tie. It was a tough game, one we could have won, but our first ever non-loss!
